Objective The rate at which diabetes progresses following diagnosis of type 2 diabetes is highly variable between individuals.
Research Design and Methods We studied 5250 patients with type 2 diabetes using comprehensive electronic medical records on all patients in Tayside, Scotland from 1992 onwards.
