Dr. Hallett received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from St. John's University, went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration from Adelphi University, and completed his Doctor of Pharmacy studies through Shenandoah University. Most recently, Dr. Hallett was re-credentialed as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP).

Shortly after completing his MBA in 1989, Dr. Hallett founded Guardian Consulting Services, Inc., which is dedicated to providing Consultant Pharmacist services primarily in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Group Homes for the Disabled. His company currently provides clinical consultant pharmacist services for more than 45,000 patients in nearly 300 healthcare facilities and programs across 7 States in the Northeast and MidAtlantic region. His company’s mission is to identify, correct, and most importantly, prevent medication misuse in healthcare settings, and in particular for our senior population, who are often at the highest risk.

In addition to his role as CEO of his company, Dr. Hallett speaks regularly on medication use issues to audiences across the region and the country, including lecturing extensively on Long Term Care Survey Issues in Pharmacy, Safe Medication Use in Geriatrics, and Reducing Inappropriate Use of Psychotropic Medications in the Long Term Care Setting. In keeping with his love of teaching, Dr. Hallett has served on the faculty at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY as a clinical instructor in Pharmacology.

Dr. Hallett is a member of numerous professional organizations, and currently serves as a Board Member for the New York Chapter of The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.
