A former Wall Street banking law professional inspired to become a
champion for public health, Jennifer Rutledge Pettie, JD, MPH works as a
Health Policy Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Her work focuses on the intersection of policy and law and its impact on
public health. Taking on a multidisciplinary approach, she engages in policy analysis, legislative affairs, legal epidemiology, partnership building,
and communications strategy.

Jennifer has participated in briefings with the White House, Congress, Health and Human Services, the Government Accountability Office, Georgia House of Representatives, and Georgia Senate. She has worked on policy and regulatory matters with the Georgia Institute of Technology, wrote a grant proposal that generated a six-figure award for the Latin America Association (Atlanta), completed recommendations for Atlanta Beltline’s public health outreach, and helped facilitate health insurance enrollment for Georgians with Enroll America.

Jennifer holds a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, Master of Public Health in Policy from Emory University, and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Villanova University.
